On 17 November 2022 PRECA Steering Committee members met in Bukhara to discuss project progress and future plans.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Sorin Popa, EU Commission FPI, Mr. Bakhtiyor Gulyamov, Head of the Regional Secretariat for Central Asia of the EU CBRN CoE Initiative, Ms. Lela Bakanidze, on-site expert in CA, Ms. Nargiz Usmanova, Regional coordinator UNICRI, Mr. David Cleave, ISTC Executive Director, Mr. Andrew Proudlove, PRECA Team Leader, and other representatives from Regional Secretariat and ISTC.

Mr. Andrew Proudlove has reported about the project activities during the first year of the project. Project team has received some comments and recommendations from Steering Committee members.

Mr. Bakhtiyor Gulyamov and Mr. Sorin Popa have noted with thanks progress made by the project team and supported plans for upcoming period of the project.

Next Steering Committee meeting is planned for summer of 2023.  

On the same day Mr. Andrew Proudlove has debriefed EU CBRN CoE National Focal Points of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan about the project accomplished activities, project road map and next steps.
