    On 28 October 2022 PRECA Chemical safety and security expert Ms. Raquel-Duarte Davidson visited Almaty Emergency Hospital

    PRECA Chemical safety and security expert Ms. Raquel Duarte-Davidson visited Almaty Emergency Hospital on 28 October 2022. She was invited by the Hospital Leading Doctor Mr. Dzhuvashev Almaz. During the meeting Hospital staff showed facilities and equipment of different departments, including Surgery, Radiology, Toxicology and other department.

    Ms. Raquel Duarte-Davidson has informed Hospital staff about the PRECA project activities under Chemical Safety work package and also about possible cooperation to establish Poisons Information Center in Kazakhstan.

    Within the project each participating-country will receive access to TOXBASE -  the primary clinical toxicology database of the National Poisons Information Service of the UK.

    Mr. Dzhuvashev Almaz has confirmed Hospital’s interest on the TOXBASE and expressed necessity of having this service for the Toxicology department.
